GET TO KNOW ABOUT IPGKPP


In 1952, British built two colleges in Malaya. One was built in Kota Bharu, Kelantan called Kota Bharu Teacher’s Training College. One more was built in Penang and it was called Penang Teacher’s Training College. When the Kota Bharu Teacher’s Training College was closed, the student teacher’s moved to Penang. Then, the Penang Teacher’s Training College (PTTC) became Malayan Teacher’s Training College (MTTC), later known as Maktab Perguruan Persekutuan Pulau Pinang(MPPP). Now, it is called Institut Pendidikan Guru Kampus Pulau Pinang (IPGKPP).


IPGKPP is located on Combee Hills, which in a the beautiful valley and surrounded by big and tall trees that are as old as over a hundred years. It is near to George Town and at walking distance to malls like Penang Lotus and Udini.



IPGKPP does not lack in facilities especially for students. For example, the classrooms are big, spacious and well-equipped with air-conditioners, study tables and chairs. Besides, this institute has a library that is packed with various hardcopies and latest books, including digital books. The café serves different types of finger-licking delicious food with affordable prices.



Furthermore, coming to IPGKPP, means you will be able to meet different kinds of interesting and special people. The lecturers in this institute are very helpful, friendly and comforting. Moreover, the seniors here are also supportive, respectful, and ever willing to help. Here, you can find friends who are trustworthy, reliable and fun-filled.
